Hope Your Day is Sweet: DIY Greeting Card

Summer time is a usually thought as a bright time of year. A time full of fun, relaxation, and enjoying some sweet treats by the pool. Create a fun summer themed card to bring joy and encouragement to any of your friends and family for any occasion.

Supplies:

Watercolor paint

Paint brush

Watercolor or Mixed Media Paper

Cup of clean water

Paper Towel

Pencil

Process:

STEP 1. Sketch an ice cream cone topped with your choice of ice cream scoops.

STEP 2. Using the wet on wet technique, cover a scoop with clean water, add paint in the

color of your choice.

STEP 3. While the paint is damp, add some shadows.

STEP 4. Use a light color to paint the cone, while the paint is wet add some shadows to one

side of the cone and under the ice cream scoop.

STEP 5. Once dry add a criss-cross pattern.

STEP 6. Add any more details you would like.

FINISHING TOUCHES: Finish your card by adding a fun greeting, such as: Hope Your Day is Sweet! Share you card with a friend or loved one and make someone's day sweet!
