New Card In Shop: I Do Mushrooms (Anniversary Card)

Inspired by my own recent anniversary and our sweet backyard wedding, I had to create a new card. The yellow flowers in the card represent my own yellow flowers. The blue represents the teal color my husband wore and I chose purple for the female mushroom, since it is my favorite color.
I am so excited to announce the I Do Mushroom Anniversary Card to add to my Celebrate Mushrooms Collection!
It all started with a simple idea. From there I created a simple sketch that I was able to turn into a card that can be downloaded and printed. I love the process, from start to finish, of creating cards!
Here are a few of the sketches that led me to create this sweet and whimsical card to celebrate anyone's anniversary!
After I sketch my design and know which direction I want to go I draw the elements I actually want to use on my cards. The elements are sometimes drawn as one image and other times I draw them separately and put it all together on the computer.
Once I have my images drawn, I scan them into my computer where I digitize and color them in Adobe Illustrator. After that, I design my cards, play with colors and placements, and test out different fonts until I like what I have created.
It is so much fun to create greeting cards from start to finish! This card especially is very near and dear to my hear, I am super excited to share this card with you!!
