Last year my word was Restore. At the beginning of 2023 I realized there were a lot of changes that needed to be made in my life, but I didn't have the energy and I didn't want to aimlessly go somewhere or just do something to do something and go without God. So I rested in God and prayed for him to restore me. "Heal me and I will be healed, save me and I will be saved. For you are the one I praise." Jeremiah 17:14   was my go to verse.

So of course 2023 was full of obstacles. As is every year, but these struggles provided me with the opportunity to spend a lot of time alone in prayer, really depending on God in a way I never had before. Looking back I can see how every struggle helped me to slow down and grow closer to Him. He was faithful to restore me, he gave me time to rest and gave me time to heal. I am so thankful for all the Lord does in my life, from saving my soul to saving me from myself and from the enemy.

This year my word is Rebuild. "But I am like a green olive tree in the house of God: I trust in the mercy of God for ever and ever.” Psalm 52:8

My goals for 2024:

1. Laugh More and worry less

2. Listen to more music on a daily basis

3. Paint, sketch or create some sort of art daily

4. Continue taking pictures of mushrooms, flowers, the sky and all the pretty things

5. Play games with the kids

6. Dance in the rain

7. Exercise, but also rest

8. Buy all the plants

9. Learn all the things

10. Embrace life to its fullest!!

I am Soo grateful for this life and all God has given me. It is easy to let the anxiety of tomorrow take away the joy from today, but living with a grateful heart puts everything into perspective. Life is precious and God is good ! I know there will be struggles to overcome this year but I also know my God is bigger than anything I face and that gives me peace that all we can do is do our best and let God handle the rest!
